It began when they were head of the federal government and they put the regions of SSC which they had full control over as "disputed", and this stopped NGOS from operating in this region. Yet, they don't have any sort of control of South Gaalkacyo, the people there are part of Galmudug, yet they still claim the region as part of PL?

Later, when Sh Shariif was President, and he wanted to send aid to the neglected regions of SSC, PL rejected aid from from docking on Bosaso port for absolutely no reason at all.

Now, some Americans came to Buuhoodle for the purpose of drought:

Puntland Dastuur claims 8 gobals, of which 2 have been entirely made up, the other 6 it claims are galgaluud, mudug, nugaal, bari, sool, sanaag. Of these it control just 2 1/2 regions ONLY.

To understand why they did this, we need to go back to history, after the civil war, the international community divided Somalia into 3 zones which they called SC1, SC2, SC3 for aid distribution purposes. Somaliland was classed as a single region, Puntland was also classed as her own region.

The rest of Koonfur bigger then both was classed as a single region but had no representatives due to the ongoing civil wars, Puntland somehow convinced the international community to receive the aid meant for everyone south of Gaalkacayo presenting herself as the patrons after paying a few fools to sign documents over she claimed represented that region!

This lasted until 2009 under Shariif's government, that's right guys, from 1998-2009 which is more then a decade, it took 2/3 of the aid meant for Somalia under false pretences, we tried to fight this between 2003-2007 to no avail due to warlords and instability, much of this fund was used to build what you see in P/land.

The whole reason for claiming 8 gobals in the dastuur was solely for this reason and this reason alone, inspired by what happened 2009 Ali Khaliif Galyr was somewhat successful wrestling the aid the elitist in Garowe were eating on behalf of SSC by themselves to go directly into the SSC hands instead

This is an existential threat to the criminal elitist in P/land because the funds are disappearing, they lost everything south of gaalkacayo, their other revenue which is bosaaso is no longer used south of gaalkacayo because other ports opened up, neither is the old kacaan airport in Gaalkacayo which is the other big source of revenue.

The only revenue left now is the aid, and that is divided per region, if they loose SSC and don't put up a fight, it's game over, Bari will follow and this whole mafia project will collapse. It's why ultimately Gaas signed the region as disputed when he was a PM, because fierce challenge was coming from Somaliland whom had the better claim, the funds were then divided between both after Somaliland took over Laascanood.

That's why the aid ship was turned away from Bosaaso and the Turks were scolded by those elites for not following protocol (e.g. recognise us, give us the money, food and address them to us) for them this is business and their life-line, they simply can't loose it!

This is why they are such a danger to Somalia due to this conflict of interest, the war here is really about profit/money and protecting interest and those interests are not aligned with a strong centralised peaceful Somalia

You have to understand this in order to fight back effectively, it has nothing to do with Majerteen or the ordinary citizens that are used as dupes and many don't see the wealth or money anyway.

Nothing wrong with gaalo coming to help innocent people, it shows that they follow Islam better than the so called arabs like UAE trying to cause a civil war in Somalia and have no care over the lives of Muslims. PL tried to stop them from coming to Buuhoodle and said that the region was not safe, and that they are not allowed to come there. But ultimately, they failed in stopping help from arriving.

Who needs aid anything? We need to builds farms, irrigation canals, wells, etc in order to become self sufficient one day.

Aid dependency is crippling ! And very hard to get out of. Like a heroin addict, Africa needs to be deprived of aid (it's heroin), it will be hard at first but eventually it will be better off for it. The West does not give Aid out of generosity but as a soft power it uses to keep countries indebted to it and believe when i say they will never let you get to a stage where you no longer "need" their aid.
