Why I got married

Some of you don't know why I got married so early at 22, firstly it was because of my mother she told me and my siblings why aren't we married? Her and her sibling's all married young before they were in their mid 20's , one married at 15. All had children young.
She said we all have aged and don't have children. She mocked my sister who's in her 30's too. Which lead her to depression but she hid it from us. My mother and father would ask what happened to our children?

My siblings now all have partner's except for the youngest , but are childless.


Is it right for my mother to speak to us like this. I believe in qadar, it's all written ,when we get married, give birth and die etc

That’s a horrible thing for your mum to say, especially to your sister. Even though it’s encouraged for the youth in Islam to get married young, it seems as though nowadays most young people are getting married just for the sake of it. Marriage entails so much more and it’s best to be prepared for it. You’ll see young people more focused on getting married as opposed to finishing off their degree or even having a job.

Anyways everything is qadr of Allah as to when someone will get married. Also no offence but 15 is way too early to get married that’s not something I’d even look up to
