To be honest the Somalia dream is finished if 80% of the potential candidates win so either way that country is cooked
:drakelaugh:
Yh but let's hope kheyre takes the seat and see what he does for the country, the other candidates don't seem like they will get the job done. I just need a leader that will drill the oil quickly in order to distribute it to the country and people and remove corruption. That's all. If we don't see that than let's hope Somaliland gains independence.

If Somalia sinks with whatever leader comes after, Somaliland should lobby even more harder for recognition as if we shouldn't be doing that now. We can still be in friendly terms with Somalia without needing to rejoin. That chapter of reunification needs to actually end and be done with.

No somalia anymore and collapse of the xamar government means instant recognition for SL and possibly puntland theres no doubt, and no we wont be on friendly terms, the bloodshed will be more with modern and more expensive military equipment and more bloodshed which will mean wider gap between the people

And when somalia eventually comes theyre not gonna want to renounce their claims over SL

Basically African north and south korea except Slanders will be patriortic and ready to defend their nation, and we dont claim the south

Realistically Iqtiraaf means another century of somali conflicts but I perfer that than being under whats FGS right now or having to share a country with a specific kind of people

I don't know im seeing republicans lobby for Somaliland and all these videos about our country going viral on youtube shows you something is cooking. I wouldn't be surprised if Somaliland eventually get recognition. Even a senator Ted Cruz is lobbying for our independence. Allah know best.

Lol this happens every year and these are irrelevant people most not even politicians, dont dream there will be no iqtiraaf as long as Al shabaab isnt in mogadishu or FGS collapses somehow

There was an entire period where there was no government in half the country, just warlords. Somaliland becoming independent has nothing to do with Somalia. You guys frame your independence case as being in contrast with Somalia's failures, but that's irrelevant. If you get independence it's because there is some value to be had in recognizing you, eg. Ethiopian MOU.

And even with all the problems of the government, Xamar to is not going to fall to extremists. This isn't Afghanistan, they don't have the support of the people.

We made our own stable government way before other countries came in and made TFG/FGS

Xamar is definitely falling to shabaab if fgs dont lock in, foreign aid is just temporary one day all these countries are gonna pull out their forces and its just gonna be the corrupt government alone against shabaab, shabaab have even said theyre waiting for that moment and preparing lmao

Dont forget they were literally inside mogadishu a few years ago before foreign troops helped the munafaq government take it back
