In the video it’s explained Mogadishu already transports a significant amount of goods to EAC countries and Somalis heavily invest in the EAC. Allowing Somalia to join the EAC will reduce inflation and service the growing economies of our neighbours.
From this is it obvious is that, Somalia needs as many ports as possible. There’s no reason to fear cannibalisation. Even Kenya imports goods from Mogadishu which is not a landlocked country, as explained in this video.
