I like “halfbreeds” but I don’t like the ones that lie about their gender :gaasdrink:

This is really bait. :axvmm9o:

but it maybe her actually.
If she made a video.:wow1:

I don't hate half-breeds. What I do hate is when Somalis are more inclined to accept a half Somali and half Arab for example as Somali (most of the time if their father is Somali) but will not consider you Somali if you are half Somali half Bantu for example. The cold truth is that if you are mixed you are just that mixed. It doesn't matter if you culturally lean more closer to one half over the other, it doesn't change your genetic makeup that is dual ethnic. I think that most people get annoyed if a half Somali is more inclined to their other half or if they just lack the cultural knowledge, but I personally don't see a reason to get mad over that. Altho I have seen some dislike towards mixed people from users on here thru out the years, I also think that mixed people have som identity issues regarding who they are and where they belong and because there is no objective answer for this question they might read/translate peoples unsureness of their place as hate.

It’s not that serious
Don’t worry whether ppl like “half breeds” or not. There’s always gonna be some who totally reject while others are more accepting. It is what it is. Just like it applies to everyone else, worry about the people surrounding you and not some randoms online who you’ll never even meet.

I have no problem with half breeds. If you mean if I’m attracted to them that’s a completely different question.

To be honest I have an issue when the likes of Maya Jama are accepted even though she's not Muslim. Somehow her fame & success supersedes all of that which I don't like. I think I can accept a half Somali as long as they are Muslim.

Tbh she was raised her whole life by her Swedish Christian mother while unfortunately her Somali dad was in prison for most of her life.

Her father failed her if we’re being totally honest and now she’s 25 years old and has little to no knowledge of her Somali roots or Islam

I have nothing against mixed Somalia personally. I just hate when the parents don't commit to their marriage and f*ck up the kids. If it's a Faraz he better raise his kids Somali and to respect their tribe and Somali values. If she's a xalimo then she better marry fully into her husband's culture and not teach the kid to hate on her culture if the marriage fails.

The two describe scenarios above seem to bother me the most because they are common issues when Somalia mix out. If you're gonna create confused kids that hate themselves when they are older then don't.

I don't like or hate them and I assume many people feel the same way, but the question of whether we should or shouldn't accept them as Somali, is entirely different story.

To be a Somali, at least -I'm talking about bare bones, being extremly lenient and sympathetic to all the mixed kids out there; since its not their choice to be mixed- be a 3 generations purebred Somali; you, your dad and his dad. They way I it should be without leniency be the offspring of 7 consecutive generstions of purebred Somali parents(both mother and father in this case)

They will be sub-Somali. The only thing they're not allowed is to run for an office even a city counselor or lower position. An Ethiopian born in 1990 is 30 years old right now; Last thing I need to worry about that filth running for Somali presidency, and not knowing anything about Somali language/culture because he grew up in the west. That same man in theory can have 3 "purebred" somali generation in our life time.

Then this ties into the idea, our neighbors in the region out number us greatly and many of them are learning/learned our language; if enough of them(say Oromos for example) move into our country as they have been doing for the past decade with varying degrees into various semi autonomous somali regions, wouldn't it be correct to change the country's name, laws, way of life, flag, and identety as a whole to refelct on the now majorty of the country's residence.

And then you have those, who'd say "I'm living in the west woo-hoo, never going to that shit hole country, left the relegion, believes Somalis as a whole is a backward society, blah blah" you have others who would say its fine if an Ethiopian, Oromo or yemeni wants to live with us and become one of us which exacerbates the situation.

The way I see it is choose, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Somalia belongs to us Somalis and belongs to "Laandhere" alone all the bantus and mixed llive as second class citizens and look at the ground everytime we walk down the street.

or

Somalia will welcomes any "muslim" regardless of their nationalty and ethnic background. the country belongs to muslims and will be governed with sharia law. Naturalize them all and make them Somalis. I'm fine with either way.

The worst thing is not know where are we headed. if we did, the answer to this thread's question would be simple.

Does this apply to the Daaroods ?

Would you consider the Daaroods Laandhere or Laandgab?
