You know the dating market will place women over man but is the complete opposite in the job/business market
You have more authority, people will take you more serious, you are seen as more knowledge by default.
You seen this play out over and over again. Customer ask for man, goes to the first man they see or even worse, shut her down for asking if she can help. He does is job. Customer complements him to his manger/supervisor. They see how great his doing at his job while the woman never go a chance. Next he'll get promoted over the woman with more years experience
The amount of time your out with the coworkers only see no women. On the rare occasions you might meet your bosses boss at the top of the ladder. if your lucky, you'll get to set in the the same table as the executives just be hanging out an build your network from them. In the most quiet/shy guys got more chance of moving up the ladder if they're willing to put in afford.
If your an minority, it would require more afford on your side. You are going to have to eat with more people, meet more people and have staying out way longer but you'll still get a better chance of moving up the ladder then white women while statistics say otherwise
If your not a top guy. The dating market seem like more effort then it's worth. Your time could be spent else where
