Garissa and other areas are shitholes worser than places in Somalia,why are reer nfd still content on staying in that dystopian desert

Reer NFD have a whole year round river, a seasonal river, underground aquifers that never dry up, the only permanent lowland forest in the Somali peninsula, rich grazing lands, and mineral wealth in the North NFD including copper, zinc, cobalt etc. They also have not experienced war and qaxooti lifestyles like other Somalis. Why would they leave?
Just because they don’t take advantage of their resources doesn’t mean the place is barren. The aquifers in Wajeer South alone can provide enough fresh water for millions for centuries, never mind the river

And most importantly, they have peace. You can travel from one corner of the NFD to the other in safety and sleep in the wilderness with your animals. It is actually becomming popular for middle class Nairobians to go back to their villages and camp with the camels every now and then and drink camel milk

They have good quality of life and more safety than many in Somalia. Many also want that refugee status and chance to make it to west. Used to have uncle who used to travel to Kenya just to get refuge card renewed. Only issue is life so good some become more Kenyan than somali as seen when some sided with Kenya during ocean border dispute
Their quality of life is much better than in Somalia. Their children are almost always educated, with many of them even graduating college. They have access to better healthcare. They are allowed to basically run the business sector of Eastleigh and other parts of Nairobi city. They have better freedoms and better security. These things are unheard of in Somalia. The only thing they are missing is being free, but they are not oppressed so this point is moot.
Of all the Somalis, those in NFD are the most educated, and I would consider them to be the upper class of the Somali family. Those in Ethiopia have it the worst, followed by those in South Somalia, then PL and SL and Jabuti.

What do you expect ? They aint called Somali Suju for nothing. AS constantly attack them and the border remains tumultous. Eastleigh produces billions in taxes yet has no sewage system allocated.

Somalis being able to get citizenship regardless from what country they come from is unsafe. Who knows how many spies Kenya and Ethiopia are sending
they all should become somali citizens so they can make sure there's no repeat of this.
It’s tough where to draw the line. Even Somalis from west might have dual allegience many working with foreign governments and militaries. I like how we have something similar to Jewish law of return. We have low population density we should welcome all our brethren abroad, maybe more vetting for government roles

I dont understand why Somalis are rushing to live in the Worlds Largest Refugee Camp located on their lands.
The Plan of Kenya to push all these people Into the Jubbas and so that the Government can Lay claim to the natural resources and sea area.
The people of NFD should leave these camps and build, but with no Help, No Strong Central Somali Government, Drought occuring and killing all the livestock and kid, No capacity to assist, ect I cant blame them because they have no where else to go.
I wish for Somalia to become Strong so that we can assist our Brothers and Sisters across the Borders. With the attacks against Somali People in Ethiopia and Kenya wanting to take our Sea and Land Resources, it is currently Hopeless.
Oil and other Resources found In the NFD should go to the people that live or hail from those regions.
