Why doesn't the government try and negotiate with the Ma'awisley clan

What do mean ‘negotiate’ with macawisley? They are already allied with the gov’t, currently fighting to free their own land together with SNA & co.

Unless you’re native, you ain’t getting political representation and compensation are only meant for soldiers, although I believe that there could be financial assistance to those who’re putting their lives on the line. But then again, your native land being free from AS should be rewarding enough, right?

Ma'awisley are the only clan that has the most sapport for alshabab, they are not allied to the government. Only reason they sapport alshabab is because they think that they are being invaded by other clans. Going into there land with Ma'awisley from other clans only helps alshabab, and puts somali soldiers in danger, since they dont know the land.

I'm meant allied in the sense that both of them have the same objective; to fight AS irrespective of their intentions.

Yh but you have to give political and economic concession to clans that you want to help others, where they liberate other clans lands.

It’s not like Murusade duduble can recruit their baadiyo folk as macawiisley from Galguduud. Shabaab have them under control

I can understand economic 'consession', but political? I'm not sure. Maybe in state/federal level, but the local representation is based on the clan population in a given area. This will only solidify the locals support for AS further more.
