Why doesnt somalia govt make a al jazzera ?

Media is soft power take a look at Al Jazeera and Russian times, the form with spends more money on its English channel than its Russian one. Somalia could export it to Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Yemen and Djoubti, We have seen what soft power can do and since Somalia is not there with heavy power, why can't we start there?

Somalia already has the telecommunication infrastructure to support it (best in Africa) , it is just a matter of building a proper news channel or re-launch Somali National Television (Govt owned)

It could also work to unite the country and save souls heading towards extremism.

I agree but we already have a multitude if private sector offerings how is a government funded tv station gonna compete it's four to be like the US. If we didn't have any private sector channels I would've supported your idea

But don't you think that the private is incompetent and unorganised? because thats how i see it. honestly i think a govt own channel strutured like the AJ and the government could use to inflabce the minds of the somalis is depresently needed.
