Why doesn’t Somalia have a safari

I know Kenya is more developed but I think Somalia could make a lot of money from diaspora people if they had a safari like they do or do they already have one?

Maintaining safari destinations requires some effort. First and and foremost you need peace and security, provide by a stable govt. Then the govt has to invest a lot in maintaining the national parks and reserves.

Take Kenya for example. Kenya Wildlife Service is the name of the state agency that is incharge of all the national parks and reserves. They have a manpower of over 5,000 permanent workers, including armed rangers whose sole job is to provide 24 hour protection to the wildlife within the boundaries of each park. You also need transport and accommodation infrastructure, including hotels and lodges within or near the parks.

Anyway it's unfortunate that somalis chimped out against the kacaanka regime, destroying everything in their path including most of the wildlife and the environment. Nowadays, Somalis have to travel to Kenya to enjoy a safari holiday experience.

My dad told me how they had alot of lions and elephants back in the day in parks now its all gone we lost the greatest nation on earth cause one clan was angry

They might be better off being some rich sheikhs pet over there, who knows. It's one of the reasons somalia lacks these animals tho. They're either killed, sold or abused in small cages till they die a slow death. I've seen that happen with hyenas. Somalis can be pretty cruel to these animals.

Most animals smuggled for the sheikhs end up dying on the way there, and then more once they are sold because of poor care and nutrition. This is why animals keep flowing into the Arabian Peninsula, to replace the dead ones.
