Why does the soon to be Somali PM’s office look like a Federal Penitentiary?

This is yet another atrocity left behind, another brilliant Farmaajo legacy. We are stuck with this awful architecture for decades :faysalwtf:

This is a rebuild of the Kacaan’s communist headquarters. How many haunted ppl is roaming that building ffs. A fail on all counts.

I think it looks pretty decent. A little plain but not bad. They should fill the empty space around that will make it look better.

I thought the old Prime Minister offices looked good. It just needed some renovation but it had an aura to it.

Xarunta Xisbiga wasnt a new building, it was build during MSB era it was the HQ of Hantiwadaag Party. Farmaajo simply refurbished it. Its right beside Mogadishu Stadium.

A fitting building. The Somalia Italiana president is hiring a submissive PM who knows his place. Qoslaaye seems from PM Xiirane drama. MrCheese seemd to have missed that lesson, with Rooble emasulating him for much of his last year in office, culminating in Gedo elections selections

All the architecture in Somalia trash. For now we just need functioning government that collects revenue and enforces law and order.

Once we are stable we can hire external architecture firms and start building schools so we can develop creative skilled folks to bring our own flavor to construction. Countries with rich architecture like China even uses external architecture firms in UK no shame in using Europeans till we develop unique style that matches our climate. The hacienda architecture style used by Mexico and Spain would look great in Somalia

Mind you this building won’t be used for years given there’s going be much needed security and infrastructure development (roads, telecoms, water management etc)

That’s one positive if you place the President, PM and Parliament offices around the city. Would improve security and spread development
