I've looked into that and made threads about that. those were only worn in the coastal communities and has recently spread to other somalis.

it's not bullying. I don't mind them wearing it but they're claiming and saying it's East African or that we are neighbours so we share even though we have distinct cultures. also the fact that they say we share but we don't wear their clothing
It is bullying, Somalis have been spamming their stuff across social media and videos on youtube lol. Somali nomadic clothing before we incorporated all this stuff wasn't that much different from Oromos. The things you believe they're appropriating became widespread in Somalis not even a 100 years ago. If we're going to nitpick about "appropriation", are they even ours?
