You're right it does have to do with the history and culture. What do all those countries have in common? Authoritarianism (overt or covert). They are bred from infancy to worship at the altar of ruthless social Darwinism and the "value" hard work (which comes down unaldulterated from the days of their respective monarchies; there was no Enlightenment French subversive nonsense over there!) So there is no need for immigration when you have happy slaves who never dream of working less than 12 hours a day. Quite a different kettle of fish from the Westerner who has naive dreams of ascending serfdom. They need to be broken up and made powerless

Most of if not all of those countries you mentioned have economies that are symbiotic to the West, at times mutualistic and at other times parasitic. The general health of their economies and societies is dependent on the health of Western economies who are in turn dependent on immigration to increase their consumer base. Because the growth imperative of ‘capitalism’ is fueled by usury, the practice of lending money at interest, there is necessarily never enough money available to pay back existing debt. This creates the need to expand the economy to create more value with which to pay back existing debts and the process goes on ad infinitum.

Nah man..

Japan is in dire need of immigrants. All the global economic organizations (OECD, IMF etc) have been urging Japan to accept low skill immigrants for ages.

It is really a cultural issue at heart and how people look at their nation.

Same with Israel.. even though Israel is cosmopolitan when it comes to intra-Jewish diversity, they really would never allow non-Jews to mass migrate to their country.
