Why do Western born Somalis go to Somalia for their post secondary education?

I had 2 mates who left for the war torn country after we graduated high school. I was intrigued and did a few searches on their chosen facilities and was shocked to find out they are not even ranked in the top 250 Universities in Africa. Wale waa yaab.
