Serbs controlled the Yugoslav Peoples Army. Forget the Slovenes, the war in Slovenia didnt go on even for a month, because Serbs had no interests there, there is not a large Serbian population there. Croats had powerfully allies in the Vatican and Germany. Where as we Bosniaks had a weapon embargo upon us. All the weapons we had were like hunting guns, pistols and even home made weapons. There was some organization by us as well (paramilitary such as the Patritotic League, etc). One would lie if he said we were totally unprepared. Unsufficiently is a better word. The weapons we acquired we acquired by stealing it from Serbs (and later Croats) in battle.
