Why do the angels hate dogs?

Are they afraid of dogs or something? why did the angel not want to enter the house with a dog inside it? it can't be solely because they are unclean because certain humans smell like wet dogs and the angels still enter their houses. My conclusion is that they have an irrational fear of dogs like arab boys.

You haven't understood the hadith correctly, the angels being referred to are the angels of blessings and mercy that pray for you.

Of course such angels don't enter homes were you are openly in disobedience by keeping a dog inside which is prohibited.

It's not referring to the angels recording your deeds that are always with you or the angel of death that will take your soul at it's appointed time regardless whether a dog is with you or not.
