It's disgusting. Just seeing their mouth open like that it's fucking weird. I'm tired of seeing it wallahi billahi. Somali parents really need to start telling their children to close their mouth fam.

It's called mouth breathing. And it's because they weren't taught to properly breath from their nose. It's actually really bad for you and related to everything from learning difficulties, to a higher occurrence of dental caries and sleep apnea. It also worsens your appearance by elongating your face. Somalis of old did not look like that. It can be corrected. Could be due to nasal congestion. They should just be taught to close their mouth at all times even when they sleep. Or use mouth tape. If that doesn't work see an ENT specialist.

Reminds me of p.diddy. yet another piece of crucial evidence proving that duddy is indeed a Somali baby from one of the of Farah's that first migrated to the USA.

My mum always used to tell me to close my mouth. She would slap me in the face if she caught me with my bottom lip hanging. Maybe it's a common practice that is now looked down upon

I once had this Somali colleague he was a (literal) mouth breather but felt too embarrassed to tell him to shut his mouth (literally).

I'm too politically correct in real life.

Mouth breathers just give off this air of doqonimo, like you look at a mouth breather and think, "This person is defo a Dhaandhaan".

Some people don't have issues with breathing through their nose, their goto is just to mouth breathe.

Don’t you see videos of people back home whenever someone is presenting the news? They all stand around slack-jawed and staring intensely into the camera or at the journalist.
:ayaanswag:
I guess they all pick it up from each other. Someone must have started using that moronic look and everyone else just started copying them.

I wasn't a mouth breather though, my two front teeth were just too big and crooked so it was an effort and a half to keep my mouth shut (when I was younger). Braces fixed that however and now I can definitely see how dumb someone would look if their mouth was constantly gaping.

Not something I've noticed

"How you breath as a child determines how you look for the rest of your life" :ohreally:

These Ted talks be getting out of hand lately

:sass2: I take it that you haven't been following the breathing experts sage advice.

@Southie if you want to be a looker. I can be of service.
