I’m not making fun of her I’m sure she has a lot to deal with but this bleaching epidemic is sad and dangerous. It is telling little dark skin Somali girls that they are worthless.
Educating them is fine about the harm of bleaching, but to criticizing them about "Lightening their pictures, giving themselves colored eyes, having random ass white people in their photos, are Somalis back home self hating?"will cause more mental trauma and more self hate. If your gone engage in a conversation about this with someone who decided to do this you have to come from a stand point of kindness and understanding and not insulting there appearance, because to them they don't know how it looks from a western stand point. Also large majority of other African do this .So we shouldn't blow this out of proportion.
