partly because people want to seem exotic, but also if you easily recognise their ethnicity they might associate it with you recognising bad features; this is only if they're insecure, for example, if you were somali, you would think its bc of your forehead, if you're Pakistani its bc of the bump in your nose

The Somalis are obviously Caucasian salafi honourable Macrobian Muslims of the Samaale tribe formed by Adeer Cush in the nile river and blessed us with Noble Caucasian features.
It is for such reasons that unfortunately whenever we mix with other noble Caucasians, they do not look somali as our genes are so closely aligned with eruopeans and North Africans that they end up looking like a tanned Libyan.

I was getting on the bus today. The driver was Somali and he seemed surprised that I spoke to him in english (he probably thought i was a hooyo matalo). There was another Somali guy in the seat right at the front near the driver cabin. They were clearly friends since they were chatting. As I walk on his face lit up. “Somali or Eritrea?” he goes. I’m smiling because he’s smiling and I say I am Eritrean. He starts to go on about how I look Somali etc and that I should do a DNA test in case
He must have thought I was lying to avoid conversation but I honestly wouldn’t have minded talking. Miskeen guy.


But yeah. Moral of the story is that a niche ethnicity is a conversation starter. Take that away and people get agitated easily
