Most Yemenis I know claim Somali ancestry and Somalis vice versa.

It’s because they’re practically our neighbors and the nation we have most in common with aside from Djibouti.

I would argue Yemenis have more in common with Somalia than the rest of Arabia.

Their food is the same, the khat addiction and extreme madax adeeg.

Most of them are pretty dark skinned for arabs, Omani like skin colour.
