Why is it that all the Somalis I meet are aware of anime?

Anime is mainstream worldwide so most people will know about it.

The older generation knew about it when they saw their kids watched/invested in long running battle shounen classics.

Yup. Every Ramadan I rewatch some old gems like death note, HXH, code Geass, Fullmetal Alchemist, The last airbender, Naruto until pain, fate series, aot, JoJo, and black cat.
I can’t drop one piece now because I’m too invested at this point.
But all the newer stuff are just ass.
It’s like my brain is telling I’m told to be watching cartoon lmao

Abysmal Wano arc must have messed up your memories because you’re forgetting Water 7, Enies Lobby, Saboady, Impel Down and Marineford. I’ve rewatched those masterpiece couple times over.

Have u seen the live action of kaiji. Its called the ultimate gambler. They came out with 2.
