Half Somalis are simply half Somalis. I don’t think we should put them on a pedestal nor ostracize them. They’re of Somali blood and people
For all those that are saying that a half Somali with an ajnabi father wouldn’t be given citizenship is having a laugh. Right now, our passport is worthless and they can easily get it by buying it or the mother having strong government connects.First fix your country first before talking about a passport that YOU a full Somali don’t even want.
Let me go into the whole, Somali male children being accepted and Somali females not being accepted. That mentality will cause issues if we do progress. I’ve noticed in some Rich ME countries the men marry out a lot and then you have a surplus of their women not allowed to marry out but are now on the shelf. Contrary to popular belief there isn’t more women than men. but creates that narrative in that society for instance is the amount of men that are marrying foreigners, whilst they stop their women from marrying foreigners and even stop them from marrying non family/ tribe members. This dynamic isn’t good for society and now some governments have to give incentives to these men to only marry their own due to the growing single women. I don’t believe in limiting one gender and not the other in things that are halal as these will be the effects.
