Why do somalis dismiss half somalis?

Half Somalis are exactly that. Why try to force them to be something they're not
A lot of somalis dismiss them even being half somali well the ones with somali mother when they are mixed somali.
Do you have interracial kids whom you mothered? Not sure why would you push this issue so hard unless it personally touches you..

The one thing I loved most about Somalis, is that half Somalis and foreign Somalis, were never put on any pedestal. In fact, the original Somalis thought they were the most beautiful people on earth. Like our probably ancestors, the Macrobians.

I think that's also to do with the fact that Somali models tend to be darkskinned. The ones back home are consuming too much Asian media and I've noticed bleaching is becoming more and more popular. The real battle for self-love will have to be held back in Somalia, not the diaspora as much.
