If you ignore a problem it will just go away
Mogadishu is ignoring the puntland Mogadishu constitutional crisis and they are just hoping one day puntlanders will wake up and forget all about it . Somalis have this idea that if u ignore a thing to long it will go away . The same with the secessionist ideology in Hargeisa Mogadishu just ignores it and says they will just come back one day . They had a wake up call during the mou where Ethiopia was on the verge of recognizing Somaliland . What would they have done if Ethiopia didn’t cave and went through with it. The other issue is we ignore is Alshabaab we just believe if we bomb them they will go away . They don’t they come back stronger and on steroids .
