I agree.
To some degree,I was like your brother.
Until I went to college.

I learned how to cook in 2013. Funny stuff, I learned to be independent and live alone by the age of 20 years old, back in 2017.

All thanks to these years of living alone in a small flat (and also, my aunt's personal ethics, she believed boys should help with chores at home).

I remember going back to Djibouti (Cisse family),
the girls were surprised that young man would help them cook, clean the house lmao.
I personally believe our culture is promoting laziness for boys, which explains their nonchalant attitude with everything in life.

Good post btw!

What kind of sick shit have you been watching?
:mahubowtf:get off of xvideos its frying your brain

Please look up emotional incest or covert incest. It’s a type of well documented abuse common with women towards their sons.

Covert incest was defined in the 1980s as an emotionally abusive relationship between a parental figure and child that does not involve incestor sexual intercourse, though it involves similar interpersonal dynamics as a relationship between sexual partners.

When Somali mothers cater and ‘baby’ their son instead of being a parental figure with rules and boundaries, this is covert incest. When they have issues with their sons marrying a woman and want to destroy the marriage….. this is covert incest.

Having your mother wait on you hand and foot as a teenager/adult while your sister has chores… covert incest. The Somali boys who are subtle given the responsibility (inappropriately) to discipline their younger siblings… covert incest.

Im just telling it like it is. Somali women are the mother in laws from hell for this very reason.

This reminds me of when mothers treat their sons as "man of the house", not to train him to be a man but to be their man.

If they really wanted to love and raise their sons, they would teach them responsibility and make them do chores. Instead they create weak men who need their Mama to feed and clothe them, and will need a wife to baby them. I think these mothers do this so that they are always needed by their sons, like an invincible umbilical chord.

This is why there is a large amount of man-children around who want another mother instead of a wife. The ones who only ask a woman "can you cook, can you clean", instead of thinking about if a woman matches them in terms of personality and life aspirations.

Its emotional abuse, I see it happen to Somali girls with their mother as well. But it’s much more common with the boys.

If you notice these Somali boys tend to develop raging hatred to women because they cannot stand up to their mothers. Or they idolize their mother so that no other woman can ‘compete’.

Your mother has a distinct role in your life and unfortunately the lines is very blurred with Somalis.

I almost never see this with Somali dads.

Depends… What is taking care of your siblings? Is it watching over the younger ones for a few hours occasionally? That’s very normal and a healthy amount of responsibility, even for 11.

Or were you apart of the disciplining, shopping, feeding and general overall parent caretaker. Did you have to go to student teacher meetings for your siblings? Ensure homework and bathing was done every night….

As you can see all that is inappropriate for a sibling no matter what age.

Interesting. Have you done any research on what type of behavior that makes Somali mothers to be extremely cruel to their step children ?

Not just step children unfortunately. There’s a Somali maahmaah about not taking care of another woman’s children. I wish I could remember it….

Basically (some) Somali woman have the attitude that they’re stupid for raising another woman’s child. Add that to a busy or ambivalent father, abuse of step children is widespread.

Not to mention many women believe that previous children are an obstacle to their husbands affection and resources. The poorer and desperate the upbringing, the more likelihood-of abuse.
