You need people like me
If you were to base your opinion on Somali’s off what you see online , some of the conclusions you would come to include :
- Somali fathers dream of honour killing their daughters
- Divorce is stigmatised
- The women are perfect and are always wronged
Neither of these are remotely true and I don’t understand the desire to portray a struggle that doesn’t exist.
Things like shaming fathers for being absent while still living with their kids or grown women attending weekly weddings uninvited I could get behind because their 100% true .
Where does the need to portray your people as ultra-religious backward decendents of Al-Qaeda come from ?
