As I see it, Republicans campaign on basically two things
- cultural conservativism, traditional religious norms (anti-abortion, anti-lgbt, etc.)
- concern of supposed ethnic replacement
as far as cultural concerns, wealthy college-educated people at least in the West tend to be more atheistic. they receive what is basically Marxist indoctrination at the universities. so they're not as tied to religion, generally speaking. poor rural people in general and all over the world tend to be more religious.
in regards to ethnic concerns- why would wealthy white people care about demographic change? if they're doing ok personally, maybe they don't care. and it's better for their social status to go with liberal norms. meanwhile I think poor white people might tend more towards racism to feel superior to nonwhites so they can cope with their poverty.
I agree with being against liberal degeneracy but they package this with being prejudiced against nonwhites- who make up the majority of the human race. do they think the people in their Bible were white? I wish they would just promote cultural conservatism without stirring race division. if they're so concerned with demographic shift, you can enforce border security without riling people up against other races.
