Why do people do this?

My cousin booked a flight to Somalia and all she does is take photos at some hotel lounge/expensive high-end restaurants.



I don't get why no one wants to try eating at local shants those usually serve great food and some are surprisingly cleaner than you think.

I'd really expend that money on local charity or did something useful in that bad situation

They do eat at local places but it looks good aesthetically when you post pictures at hotels in Somalia compared to at local spots.
