If you choose to stay in the west then you should be comfortable with the idea that your children will most likely NOT be Muslims. They will assimilate into their host countries and that includes leaving Islam. Those Muslims who believe they can actually build a 3rd generation or 4th generation community are very delusional.

I agree. All of us should come here only for education, then save money and build a house back home to move back to after our studies are done. Me and my entire family plan to relocate back to Somalia real soon. I suggest everyone else do the same.

I disagree. I know a lot of religious parents who tried to raise their children “conservatively” and failed. Social media, the internet, your children’s friends, teachers, the overall culture is who you’ll be fighting against. And you’ll most likely lose the battle. Why even put your child in such an environment if you’re not willing to accept the fact that they can and most likely will leave Islam?

There is always flate line in the case of everything. Some Muslims will leave the religion regardless. The Internet is global these days, no way escaping it. however, that doesn't mean with all wrong with the west parents can't raise their children right. Many have. my parents being an example. These days spirituality Is making comeback, we have all these reverts. It's not doomy.
I’ve heard that up to 75 % of reverts end up leaving Islam, and if you don’t take immigrants into account, far more people are leaving Islam in the West than people are reverting to Islam or being born as a Muslim. Such a phenomenon will never exist in Muslim countries because the same factors that make Muslims apostate in the West, are the same factors that make Muslims stay Muslim in their own countries if you get what I mean.

There is no sources to prove what you just said. Muslims are the second biggest religion in America and the fastest growing religion.
The number of Muslims keeps on increasing whether it's due to over sized Muslim families or reverts, one fact remains while others religions decline in number Muslims increase.
As for apostates I haven't come across a survey showing us why people leave islam, but from what I have seen on the Internet I can say itit's mostly emotion that drives people away from islam. I can also say I have seen far more reverts than ex Muslims.
