Why do mixed kids never claim their white side?

By "mixed kids" I mean kids who are half white and half anything else, why do they never claim their white side, they're just as white as they are their other half.

This seems to be universal, half asians, half blacks, arabs, etc.

And these people who are half white and half anything else are always claimed by the community that they say they're apart of. Black people typically claim half white half black people as black. But you never see white people claiming a half white person as white.

When they get questioned about their specific ethnicity is when they get separately between sides.

The vast majority of whites will never claim anything thats mixed, don't matter if its asian,latin,black. Whatever you are mixed with is what you are to them.

The other side has no choice to accept them most of the time, the mixed kids force themselves into the community because they have no chance on the white side.
