I think @The alchemist was the first person I ever heard say Somali once inhabited South of the continent (Madagascar/South Africa).

Migration routes like that are proof Africans as a collective once traversed the entire continent.
It's another reason I laugh at colonizer euros who argue Africans largely weren't present in pre - colonial South Africa, & that's why their presence is justified.
