Yes, but we don't need third wave Feminism in Africa; we just need to empower African women based on the rights I already outlined; our own variant of feminism should also address rape (in and out of marriage), domestic abuse, workplace harassment and reproductive rights.
I doubt they know feminism is striving for all those things, muslim men have changed the face of feminism as a euphemism for a destructive ideology that isn’t ‘islamic’ so the women don’t read up on it thus believing what the masses believe it is. you do have a point though. Only takes a few to be brave and stand up to the leaders. But it seems women are content with their place in society in those african cultures. Theyll get up when theyre fed up like the white women in the 1900s.
