To many of you this might come as a surprise but not to someone who has lived in London for a longtime.
We have survived worst things than this such as the 2005 bombing and the numerous IRA bombings.
Nothing is going to happen in terms of retaliation against the common person, London is practically non
white British majority aka the brown capital of Europe. It is just another day in Baghdad.

Exactly. Finally someone who makes sense.

All these Somalis crying on every thread about this like it's the end of the world are embarrassing wallahi. :ohlord:

I agree but the wages being pushed down are dead end, low skilled, low wage jobs as it is. It's not affecting me so therefore I really encourage young Somalis to go to school and some kind of training. It's like those who complain about Mexicans in the US, they only push down wages of those who work dead end jobs and unlike the free movement of the EU, these people are largely undocumented. What's the figures for the Polish and Bulgarian? The NHS is already garbage as it is, from the little I know it's a horrible system for health care. My husband is a UK citizen (born), he got Canadian citizenship through me so he could get the benefits of the health care system here. The only downside to healthcare here is that prescriptions are out of pocket expenses unless you are substantially low income, elderly, or disabled.

Yeah this country is a shambles to be honest, I don't plan on staying here for
Much longer Insha'Allah or raise my
Future kids here either.

NHS for what it is a shambles yes,
But it's all we got to be honest.

First quarter of 2016 migrant figures reached 3.5 million for that year alone.

http://www.migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/resources/briefings/eu-migration-to-and-from-the-uk/

The main issue is that there's no cap on freedom of movement, literally no cap on the numbers.

Yes the low income workers, are the ones who suffer with the low wages,
I do feel compassion for them wallahi
Especially when they have to go to
Food banks to feed their families.

I've heard about Canada's health care
And free education system, it seems
Very alluring to someone from the
U.K. Lol we shall migrate to you're
Country hahagagaga

It is not a perfect country itself, but there a lot better outcomes for immigrants, more acceptance, and a more beneficial place to raise your kids. I am talking about BC and Ontario although people are getting priced out of these areas since wealthy foreigners are investing in real estate and making the cost of living unlivable (wealthy Chinese do so so they can gain Canadian residency). Toronto and Vancouver are really bad, so people buy homes in Hamilton, Kitchener, London where there is more affordability for home ownership. My parents are lucky they bought a home when they did because now it's next to impossible.

Londons the same... house prices on the average house close to 350,000- 500,000 and these are the ghetto areas.

Some places a normal 4 bedroom, unremarkable house in Chelsea or Kingston etc worth 1 million.

10-20 years all house prices will be in excess of 1 minimum pounds minimum.

Whole areas are getting gentrified at an alarming rate, and the poor pushed out.

Foreign investors are also to blame for this. Masha'Allah you're parents were lucky to buy early on.

:mindblown: How long did that run? Or was it just for a big down?

It was only a portion of the down payment for the home, but she was in a hagbad for it, this was in the 90s though. When she told me I thought she was joking but then she said "Hoyoo I'm serious" markaas aan idhi Allah wallahi that's smart. :damnmusic:
