I agree but the wages being pushed down are dead end, low skilled, low wage jobs as it is. It's not affecting me so therefore I really encourage young Somalis to go to school and some kind of training. It's like those who complain about Mexicans in the US, they only push down wages of those who work dead end jobs and unlike the free movement of the EU, these people are largely undocumented. What's the figures for the Polish and Bulgarian? The NHS is already garbage as it is, from the little I know it's a horrible system for health care. My husband is a UK citizen (born), he got Canadian citizenship through me so he could get the benefits of the health care system here. The only downside to healthcare here is that prescriptions are out of pocket expenses unless you are substantially low income, elderly, or disabled.

No, most European counties have excellent benefits and a higher quality of life.

In all seriousness, the move is strictly pushed by the older generation. The UK is a much better environment for them. Easier to "integrate" into the wider society (really there's just more fobs from all backgrounds). Not as big of a language barrier, and they won't have raise their kids among gaalo only. Most European countries were a lot more restrictive when it came to settling immigrants and refugees. That's why a lot of European Somalis are from obscure little tuuloyin where their parents just couldn't hack it. Early on in the UK pretty much all you had to do was claim to have family in London or Birmingham and they'd try to settle you in the area. All the ajnabis abused the shit out of it, and that why you have Asian, Somali, Polish etc. enclaves. To them it's the best of both worlds, European security with first world life and 3rd world crowds
