He was a great person that's why he is loved by his community and his fellow countrymen. Nipsey was born and raised in a rough neighborhood, that is and was his frame of reference up until he traveled Eritrea and begin the journey of self awareness. At one point his whole outlook in life was gang banging but eventually he realized his worth and started to give back to his community, he wanted to become an example for others before his life was cut short by greed. AA's and Eris are proud of their son and I see nothing wrong with that

Because he was a proud Eritrean. He went to Eritrea twice and was planning to open schools and hospitals there. He also got Eritrean citizenship for having an Eritrean father.
