Why do all of Somalias politicians seem incompetent?

From what I have seen on Somali politics and politicians, I cant see one that has a hint of charisma, charm, or focus. There seems to be no plan out here just dudes basking in their power and building and developing random things. Like do we need a theatre at this point, and if so why could'nt we build it and finance it ourselves. Seriously theres no focus at all atm.

Somalia really needs a figure to come out this next election that will father the nation, and set it on course to stabilization and development.

They are only incompetent if you assume they are there for the sake of the country/people.

But if you assume they are there to enrich themselves no matter what, then they are quiet competent. They are doing a great job.
