It's not even that strategic to protect red sea trade lifeline. Any power that controls 'egyptian' end and the Gardafu end, basically owns the entry/exit, being deep in the channel is less strategic. Plus he thinks I.C will protect his small issa clan, while they lose land after land in ethiopia. I.C won't care for his land in ethio.
@ZodiaK Garacad is 'primed' to be sold to the chinese to add it on the 'belt n road' port gateway into africa. We currently targetting 100 million market in ethio, but it will 'scale' to other african nations tied to china trade.
@ZodiaK u wont be on the belt n road to tap into chinese trade. U chose an island nation over a superpower. PL will ensure strong ties with china at all times, we can get way more not just trade but hopefully 'knowledge' transfer. PL biggest goal is now knowledge transfers into PL identified 'sectors' to do our own thing not relying on outsiders.
