Why Deni Bloc Secured HSM Victory Against Farmaajo

It's well known after Deni got back-stabbed by Aaran Jaan who swung their voting bloc towards Khayre, he responded by throwing his bloc with HSM. PPL say he did this so Farmajo loses, well that's obvious but he also wanted to ballbust Aaran Jaan pick >>> Kheyre as they would get PM spot. But some others conclude he also did it cause he has history with HSM dam-jadiid as they named him a Minister.

I'll add my conclusion and why I suspect he did it; He knew HSM would be a nightmare based on his 2016 performance and he wants to create a condition in 2026, where the nation is falling apart and people seeking a 'messiah' which obviously he will milk for himself as that messiah.

But he didn't calculate that Farmajo may also fill that 'opportunity' and if Darod go at it again, HSM might return again to power as Darod candidates are politically divided on federalism vs centralism as Farmajo is a big centralist and any PL candidate will be big federalist, this may play into HSM securing another 2026 victory if he plays his cards right as HSM has no real political agenda beyond xaan cuna, not just him but any hawiye candidate.

Deni was meant to be HSM’s PM in his first term but Boqor Burhan blocked him by personally intervening.

The man has such bad history with his pears. Whether it’s his former Damuljadiid friends, former Aaran Jaan allies, Boqor Burhan. Sad really.

Also btw Kheyre was already out when Deni was to give his votes. If you remember the Deni deal was brokered by Sadaq Jon on the night and the race was only between Farmaajo and HSM. Everyone at the time assumed Deni had the PM pick (whether someone he wanted or even himself). It’s HSM who decided he wanted his own pick from PL after the election.
