However that republican idealogy is what is responsible for the govt and clans not cooperating as it doesn't accomodate their historical boundaries and jurisdictions and why the 'state' itself needs re-defining not the 'law' because the law is constructed thru republic only leads to battles with the aristocracy/saldanad clans who will not relinguish their positions to the state, so the 'state' needs to be defined who is boss is it the president and his parliament/courts or is it the monarchy, their has to be role of subordination as the state has to have one in charge and one representive.

I doubt the monarchy clans are going to accept their 'representative' role and subordinated to the president and state institutions, since that would essentially make them 'civilian' and 'subject' and not an authority. Legal system can't apply to the royals as their above that in their eyes with their historical govt clashing with this new republican govt. U will continue to see fierce problems between the old world vs new world somalia and hence the civilians themselves will be split in their loyalties to clan and saldanad or to country and state

stick to topic this is about farming. No point in wasting precious resources in farming in dry regions of Somalia it’s better to become like Jason or Germany or South Korea and manufacturing firms should be set up instead

Somalia is vastly empty semi-arid desert, just check on google or fly over the place its sparsely populated hardly any villages for miles upon miles. Therefore if you move away from major towns lets say 15- 20 KM you should find yourself a large plot and turn that into a green oasis. I'm not saying anybody can go and do this in any part of Somalia, obviously it would be safer to do this in your qabil territory. nobody can stop me from claiming large chunks of land in the surrounding areas of Qardho if it doesnt belong to anyone else that is.


85% percent of the country is semi desert not just PL the most fertile and green regions still have security issues.



Then take 50km by 50km in your qabil territory and turn that into a farm like the ones in Arizona. If everyone does that in their respective regions collectively it would be extraordinary.



I would tend to agree about the lack of knowledge but I also think laziness is a big issue with somalis. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to watch or read what others are doing on Youtube etc and self learn. Diaspora are not creative enough its copy cat culture of only building hotels. We need unconventional creative businesses that's where the real change will come from.

somalia is not desert bro all over. Only Puntland. Galnus and Somaliland. Hiraan and below is super green take a plane from Afmadow to xamar then do one from xamar to Berbera super dry and desert second half.

Privatise land land and then reform it but no need to obsess about farming there are countries with much cheaper fine produce we can buy from them we need to manufacture and services industry industries
