Why can’t somalis dance?

I’ve noticed that a lot of Somali people lack rhythm. Most of our traditional dances are jumping dances, nothing you really need good rhythm for.

But unfortunately it shows a lot when we’re dancing alongside other people. I was at a party once and some afrobeat song came on and a Somali guy went to the middle of the dance floor to dance to it and he was so terrible. He was even worse than the white people


Why can’t somalis dance???
and don’t give the “it’s because we’re muslim” excuse because so is most of west Africa and they are very good dancers. Not me though I can dance very well to any type of music, I thank my southeast African ancestry for that

Because we spent much on our time either expanding to a new territory or raiding another qabil livestock

and most dances you see are for something we just don’t dance it has meaning unlike our bantu brothers with their mating call they call niiko/twerk

for instance their is rain dance when allah blessed us with rain so our livestock can eat to the fullest, and then wedding dances and last but not least war dances alongside war chantes

That is unfortunately true; all we (Nilotes) do is jump up and down like gangly, uncoordinated giraffes on ice -- except for our girls.

Being good at dancing is a Latino/Caribbean/Christian Bantu thing.

No. Inbreeding only affects the Possibility of autosomal recessive inheritance; all other traits depend on your parents. Somalis in general have thin bones whilst blacks have larger bones. It has to do with ethnicity.
