Ofc you’d say that. I agree PL is more populous than galmudug but you seriously think it is more populous than konfuur galbeed? Btw it isn’t only d&m that live there. It is actually the most diverse gobol in Somalia with many different subs of hawiye as well as d&m. Plus it’s a known fact that it is the most populous gobol. Just compare the amount of towns in lower shabelle compared to PL in google maps. I’m not even from SWS lol. SWS is same population as somaliland

I think you underestimate how many South-Westerners have fled their regions and live in IDP camps all over Somalia.

Yeah but even then, there are just way too many clans and tribes living in lower shabelle itself compared to PL which is pretty much dominated by one (MJ) with few others. For example nuugal
Which is dominated by cumar maxamuud and a few leylkaase and awrtable compared to lower shabelle where there’s at least 10 different clans let alone sub clans. Unless cumar maxamuud and laylkase is bigger than all those combined, there’s no way the population is greater.

Also look how in PL, SL and Galmudug sub clans have such huge lands compared to down south where whole tribes have small lands. It’s because south is more green attracting more people

I can’t talk on SL as I haven’t been there nor know any information about who does the hard and gritty work. Somaliland would do better off than puntland as an independent country. There’s 5 million inhabitants in SL. I don’t even think there’s 1 million in PL. but still SL wouldn’t do better as an independent country compared to being a state in somalia

Its ethnic somalis. They would do better as an independent country with access to capital markets. Then atleast if they wanted to pursue their own corrruption they could. As a state theyd be beholden to the current corruption

Breaking up somalia is against our national security. You can see how Kenya uses SL to undermine Somalia. Imagine multiple Somali nations undermining each other. We need to stick together to succeed. With an mighty army with Somali moral we can actually rebuild all kingdoms inside the republic, and liberate the two remaining territories.
