One of my older bros friends is called af hambeegar because of his gigantic lips. Another one of his friends was called virus because he used to be so skinny. My personal favourite was a guy we used to call xaarweyne because he stank up the dugsi toilet one day

Probably because Somalis have low IQ. There's direct causal link between religiosity and intelligence. Although even smart people do dumb things, most intelligent people know supplicating and talking to invisible entity called Allah/God is downright daft.

That common? I knew only one. For the longest, I thought it was his actual name and didn't put together it was a nickname. I'd say it was on the nose though lol, no exaggeration, and he was extremely hot.

Canjeex was a nickname we had for this Ethiopian guy who lived across from us with a big scar across his face when i was living in Ethiopia as a kid. He understood what it meant and use to really hate us for it. Since he was a lot bigger we use to get into bare fights with him and his friends. Good times!
