why are Somalis obsessed with Ethiopians and Sudanese people?

Not a good point lmao. Sudan is multi-ethnic, multi-linguistic, and multicultural. Somalia as a nation consists of one ethnicity, united by language and identity, only divisions by clan exist.

Your reasoning in trying to discredit her criticism of Somali anti-blackness by referencing the actions of Sudanese Arabs, a totally different and culturally divergent group, basically polar opposites in the spectrum of Sudanese cultures lmao😂 is similar to trying to link Kenyan Somalis with Kenyan Bantu cultural flaws that bring crimes and injustices to all other Non-Bantu Kenyans and using that to shut down anytime a Kenyan Somali decides to speak about injustice in the Somali ethnic group or anywhere else on the continent.

I don't really know what you were trying to say with this but it sounded a lot like "Stfu, people you formerly shared nationality with are super anti-black, so that means you can't be accusing us of the same thing"?

A Dinka (who proudly attests to their blackness anywhere and everywhere) would be furious that you even try paint him as complacent with Sudanese Arabs who are plagued with Anti-blackness.

Southerners are well aware of the Anti-Blackness of Northerners. If you think these Sudo activists are letting Sudanese Arabs get a pass and coming for Somalis for the fun of it, you're delusional and have a main-character syndrome for Somalia because you've been conditioned to think it's all about y'all. I want to mention that a Southerner who even attempts to slightly soften or sugar-coat the severity of North Sudanese anti-blackness commits an act almost sacrilegious, that he himself is putting his wellbeing at risk. If my words sound harsh or possibly trying to induce some national conflict, I promise this isn't my goal, you just said some stuff that sounded like straight bull, I had to type this up.

I'm sure @Nilotic who doesn't shy away for his opposition to North Sudanese anti-blackness can comment on this. Better hear it from the actual people than me, an intermediary trying to speak on behalf of them.

South Sudanese certainly don't let Sudanese Arabs off the hook for the horrible things that transpired and the attitudes and ideologies that inspired those tragic events.

Our historically informed attitudes toward Sudanese Arabs are widely held, whereas anything negative (pertaining to other groups) is really not all that common -- barring isolated instances.

Lmao, that's the thing, I don't. I mentioned the Adal Sultanate once lol.

I wasn't "desperately trying to attribute those historical empires to Somalis". If you are as open-minded as you have made yourself, you can go ahead and really show me where I gave off that impression aside from where I made a little tease about you and ascribing origins of Adal with Arabs and Ethio-semites. I know nothing about Adal aside from the fact this one take about it is a huge punch in the gut for Somali nationalists hence why I mentioned it when referring to your troll campaign, even if trolling isn't your primary intention. Maybe I will look into the arguments you have and the arguments people who disagree with you have on Adal's origins someday, but honestly, with all due respect to whoever founded it, I don't give half a shit, it was a kickass Islamic sultanate apparently, W Muslims regardless of their ethnicity. You're an entertaining poster nonetheless lmao.

Nah, you can trace my messages if you want. I came to this forum as a Sudani because I saw interesting discussions about kingdoms in MY homeland, such as Kush and Kerma. You're free to label me a somali troll but for someone who admirably reiterates the importance of evidence in reaching conclusion, you haven't did yourself a favour here. This is just a hunch you have.

Absolute waffle. Sudan being ethnically diverse is irrelevant to my point.

I was merely pointing out the absurdity of a South Sudanese being that hyper focused on Somalis (she tweets about Somalis obsessively often when Somali sjw refuse to attack Arabs) when it wasn’t Somalis who treated her people like cattle for centuries. It wasn’t Somalis that the West had to step in and protect her people from to the point that the whole country was split up.

We don’t even live in the same diaspora for the most part as the Somali community in Australia where many of these Somali obsessed Sudos live is relatively small.

Your example about Kenyan Bantus and Somalis is utterly ridiculous as at least, we share borders with each other. I appreciate that things are different on the ground which is why I specified that it’s mainly certain Sudo girls online coming for us. Jumping on the bandwagon. I’m sure that the average South Sudanese adult in real life is too busy to be bothered with us.

I need to correct certain things in your post

South Sudan is essentially (but not entirely) a Nilotic State, and Nilotes very valiantly repelled Sudanese Arabs, Turks, Egyptians and the British...

..It was the non-Nilotic Fertit tribes of Western Bahr El Ghazal that were taken as slaves in the millions. The Dinka, Nuer and Shilluk did well against slave raiders from North Sudan, the Turks and the Egyptians -- at great cost.

Also, Washington was actually allied with the North during a significant portion of the North-South war; and that's how Khartoum acquired C-130 Hercules aircraft and M60 Patton tanks. The South was being supplied with weapons by Cuba and Mengistu's regime; no superpower directly supported us (during decades of that genocide) until the 90s.

I live in australia and I’ve never seen south Sudos or north sudos beef . I don’t even think they hang together

Not sure what it is that you’re correcting.

No where did I state that the South Sudanese didn’t fight back. Nor did I make an extinction between Nilotic and none Nilotic people. Also, it is undeniably that Western support was crucial for South Sudan’s ultimate independence

I simply pointed out that you would expect a South Sudanese to be more inclined to address anti Blackness in the context of North Sudan vs South Sudan rather than involving a group of people with whom they share no borders or history of conflict along racial lines.

Again, this is in relation to certain online activists who are clearly jumping on a bandwagon.

these people are terminally online. south sudanese and somalis dont know each other at all. theyre starting fights over tiktok and twiter beefs.

I know nothing about Adal aside from the fact this one take about it is a huge punch in the gut for Somali nationalists hence why I mentioned it when referring to your troll campaign, even if trolling isn't your primary intention. What I'm really trying to say is, I think people, especially on Somalispot and other Somali online spaces, overblow the actual seriousness of these online problems. Realistically they don't mean anything and an obsessed Habesha who likes to troll Somalis by telling them Adal was founded by Arabs and Ethio-semites, has no actual real-world impacts on Somali people and the Somali nation. Just take a step back, close the phone, laptop or computer and think if @HabarSteven12 posts actually mean anything beyond this forum or any other online space? It's ridiculous 😂

Nobody takes Habaarka Steven serious, he is basically target practice for the resident Somali history enthusiasts, who sharpen their own research skills and keep uncovering more interesting sources from the past.

Its like having a flat-earther on the forum regurgitating the same flat-earth agenda, over and over again, meanwhile in the process of debunking him we learn more and more about the Earth and the wider Universe.

You seem triggered and extremely infuriated about me factually calling out Somalis for falsely ascribing historical semetic-speaking empires to Somalis.
Swearing by Allah and all his 99 names, I don't care at all bro. I have no idea WHERE this is coming from :drakelaugh:

You have done a poor job at concealing and camouflaging your Somali identity. The fact that you tagged me and called me a troll for factually stating that Ethio-Semitic speakers and Arabs formed the dominant section of the Adal population exposes your true colors. Semetic-speakers founded the Adal sultanate, and the ruling elite consisted of semetic-speaking groups.
I called you a troll not because of the validity of what you're saying, but because of your behavior. You dwell on this forum simply to police Somali nationalists and make them lose their shit. I haven't gone ahead and stalked all your posts but almost every time I see something from you it's some hilarious shit about you riding out on the prides of Somalis. If it's correct or not I already said, I literally do not care, but I think it's quite a fitting term for your "activity" on this forum lol. You only really come here to do just that, and you seem to like the thrill that comes with these heated discussions between you and Somalis desperately running to defend their national pride. Idk check out these definitions of what trolling entails maybe?

You are now trying to desperately backtrack by claiming you were only teasing and joking around. What's funny is that your talking points look identical to those of another Somali nationalist troll I previously interacted with. I suspect this is your second account.
You claimed you knew nothing about Adal, yet you call me a troll and get enraged when I factually attribute Adal to semetic-speaking groups. You didn't demonstrate neutrality, and you clearly showed your confirmation bias.
The Office Lol GIF by NETFLIX

Nahh😭😭😭😭 can we PLEEASEE get a zoom-in replay and VAR analysis on his use of "enraged".

I didn't even say if you were wrong or right about Adal, you make it out like I specifically claimed you were wrong or right, I pointed out a controversial opinion you had when I mentioned you in a reply to some other dude as an example for a totally unrelated argument I was making, you've now managed to convince yourself I give even an ounce of a shit about you and your takes on Adal, Somalia, Revisionist history and whatever you're always rambling about and now centered yourself as the main character of this thread. 😭😭😭😭 There are literally other people who have tried adressing your claims about Adal, why don't you go give them all this love you're giving me, someone who half the time doesn't have a clue what you're even talking about.

You are another basement-dwelling Somali nationalist troll cosplaying as a different ethnic group. I am very familiar with Somali nationalist social media antics, and you are not fooling anyone. You got extremely triggered about me correcting historical distortions, and you have been following my historical refutations for quite some time. You even awkwardly tagged me, and I never had an interaction with you before. That is not something a Sudaese would do.
Bruh i'm a fan. Stop yapping to me, someone who isn't gonna give you the chance to "always seek to foster constructive dialogue and intellectual engagement". This is not at all any of those things, you're engaging in verbal with me for tagging you, and you got hurt because you're on your period or something. Let it rest walaal, as funny as an engagement this has been. :silanyolaugh:

Drop the self righteous act.

You were positively giddy a few posts back about how Somalis were supposedly tag teamed. Gangbanged was the exact term that you used.
Positively Giddy? Did you assume that from me using the word "gangbanged" or what? Lmfao.
Drop the bullshit, I'm ashamed of my community for engaging in these pathetic online beefs with anyone for any reason.

I can't say the same for you who probably gets teary-eyed and blasts the Somali national anthem with your sweaty palm pressed firm against your heart as you watch Somali incel tiktok edits, xooging on Habeshas, with the same generic corny phonk in the background, shitty capcut transitions and a collage of Wikipedia screenshots of Somali-Ethiopian military conflicts, a lot of the time bragging about human atrocities like mass genocide and rape.

But idk, just an assumption I also made judging by your takeaway from that silly Sudani-Somali tiktok beef.
