why are Somalis obsessed with Ethiopians and Sudanese people?

No walaal the point I’m making is that they are equally obssessd, maybe even more, but they move smarter. When an Ethiopian has an obsession about Somalis they hide it, but when it’s the other way around the Somali doesn’t. That’s why the obsession looks one sided, and people make posts like op did. Btw is it confirmed that the Oscar was Ethiopian? I thought someone here said he was a mixed Somali with a cadaan mom
Idk i just know the one running troll shit is an Oromo with an agenda against Somalis

There is also a rising trend of Somali nationalist extremists attacking Sudanese people.

I have literally never seen this. Sudanese keep to themselves for the most part in their little Arab circles. We don't even overlap. I would like to see screenshots because what motive is there to talk shit about each other?

Somali nationalist extremists started attacking Sudanese people unprovoked. Sudanese people have nothing but love and respect for the Somali people. But ever since these Incel extremists began attacking Sudanese people unprovoked, they started to mock us. It's all over TikTok and Twitter. You can see it yourself.

Somalis and Ethiopians hate eachother online but irl it’s different
In London where I live the Ethiopians always set up shop next to wherever Somalis are
If you see a Somali shop there is always an Ethiopia shop next to it

Exactly. Somali Incels and nationalist extremists are particularly obsessed with Ethiopians for some strange reasons. They blame Ethiopians for every problem facing the Somali community. Ethiopians are not really obsessed with Somalis. To be honest, what is there to be obsessed with about Somalia or the Somali community? Somalia is a failed state, and we are scattered refugees throughout the world. Our community is dysfunctional, and we are gripped with numerous problems. We are at the bottom of the socio-economic ladder. We have no international prestige or influence on the global stage. There is also a rising trend of Somali nationalist extremists attacking Sudanese people.

I have noticed that these Somali nationalist extremists project their weird social media antics on Ethiopians and other ethnic groups. They are the ones constantly cosplaying as Ethiopians and attacking them unprovoked. Most Ethiopians generally have a good relationship with Somalis, but these nationalists are working really hard to create tensions between our communities. These Incel extremists need to fear Allah and stop slandering random people unprovoked.
eheheh i take it back
you get accused of being oromo or xabshi you’ve beaten the non-Somali allegations HabarSteven12

Other than the baati beef on tiktok years ago, there’s no beef. Somalis don’t think about Sudanese people 💀 It’s trendy to hate on Somalis so I wouldn’t be surprised if they join in when Somalis are beefing mathows though

Yeah there’s no beef irl here but maybe that’s cause there’s aren’t many Ethiopians in the UK. I don’t know what it’s like in America or other places

They live everywhere Somalis live, Minnesota, Arizona, California. There are places like Las Vegas where there are a lot of Habeshas and no Somalis (probably because it's Sin City). But for the most part, smart of them to be up under us. I think they use us to hide behind lol.

Lots of Ethiopians live with Somalis in North America in places like Toronto and Seattle etc we get along well online is a different story though

This, if you step back outside the internet you'll realize Somalis and Ethiopians are pretty chill with each other. You never hear any stories about ethnic clashes between Somalis and Habesha/Oromo in the west. Ethiopians even support Somalia's football games against non-Horner countries lol.

It's not common at all but I've seen it specifically surge on tiktok. There was some period of time like late 2022 where Somali tiktok got into some beef with South Sudanese Tiktok, this eventually spread to include Sudan, and you had a situation where both South Sudanese and Sudanese tiktok were shitting on Somalis, with Somalis returning the favour.

A common theme was those stupid videos where they showed like images of girls and would say "Average Somali/sudani girl" and then depending on which side you were on cherrypick a gorgeous conventionally attractive woman, and for the other team, cherrypick an image of a woman who can easily be written off as unattractive. I noticed there was also a significant deal of friendly-fire colourism on the Sudanese side with some Sudanese accounts using images of Somalis with super dark skin to equate it to being "ugly", this probably also led to the frequent (and still continuous) in-fighting between the South Sudanese and Sudanese side over the usual issues of tribalism and colourism, our tiktok community reflects our societal issues back home, cute.

Habeshas also got involved later to the end of it for some reason (well not "for some reason", I know the exact reason it was just funny seeing them slide in for some action) and they started stanning Sudanese people. The number of Habesha accounts I saw that would post gorgeous images of Sudanese, South Sudanese, Eritrean and Ethiopian women then on the last slide absolutely make a mockery of Somalia, omds. Somali tiktok was getting tag-teamed, 4 to 1.

Aside from the silly comparisons of each other's men and women, I noticed there was the common usage of insults between Northern Sudanese people and Somalis. Northern Sudanis were calling Somalis Bantu slaves and stuff, Somalis responded with the expected, Arab slaves and whatnot. It was short-lived to be fair and I recall it started out with those nationalist accounts but then came to incorporate the more non-nationalist circles of each community.
Habeshas still ride Somali dick, Sudanis have hopped off since then.

Wallah. I only found out about how much they hate each other online after years of living alongside both and seeing their strong brotherhood. Didn't want to believe what I was seeing lmao.

I remember that actually, jogged my memory. It was like a good week on tiktok of baati wars or something.

Its funny since Somalis, Ethiopians, Eritreans and Sudanese all share similar looks. Its like Europeans trying to roast each other based on appearance.

Something like that, I think this beef was different but related. Like a sequel to the baati wars lol. The baati wars was just solely Xalimos and North Sudani Femcels coming for each other's jugulars, what I was talking about seemed to be sparked by the incel nationalists in each community, with the normals coming to back it because they feel expected to rep their flag. I didn't see Habesha get involved in the Baati war, it seemed like it was strictly a Sudan-Somalia thing, I did see some involvement from Chad, Nigeria, and Mauritania but they were like spectators to be honest, just creating content around the beef instead of coming for anyone, but sadly for them they caught stray bullets from both fighting sides😂

Are you North or south Sudanese? I’m surprised you’re admitting your people tag team against Somalis. Most other Africans don’t like to admit how anti Somali they are

Generally Yh. The only slight outlier for this would be Sudan by which I saw Somali nationalists during this beef make arguably good distinctions between your average Sudani and Horner. It was nitpicking, to be honest, but they capitalized on it to further whatever agenda they were in support of, something along the lines of "we're not like you".
