Why Are People Supporting TPLF Here

Hello,
I'm from Mogadisho, originally my grandfather came from Cadaado, Galmudug. Tplf led an invasion into Somalia, which affected the areas of Mogadisho, SWS, Gedo, etc...
Here Are Some Crimes:
"The insurgency placed civilians at grave risk by deploying among them," said Roth. "But that is no justification for Ethiopia's calculated shelling and rocketing of whole neighborhoods."


Here are people of Somali Region of Ethiopia being abused during tplf era.


I especially don't understand why any hhamar or galmudug person would support them subxanallah, these wecels killed our parents, grandparents, etc...

In the end I don't feel bad about whats happening to them and I'm ignoring it.

To most people seeing the world through the lences of I was wronged so those who wronged me must be wronged aswell is very shortsighted and bit immature.

I support TPLF because they are genuinely under siege and the Ethiopian government's main ally the Amhara FANO militias are committing mass rapes and severe human rights abuses against the Tigre populace. At first Tigray were in the wrong but how EFG handled the situation was disturbing they deliberately turned the war into an ethnic cleansing, and I thus believe they have legitimised the TPLF self defence.

People killing each other shouldn't be celebrated we should be better and wish peace in Ethiopia even if its bit painful. Tegarus dying won't bring your parents back nor will it heal your wounds or return the lost lives and maal. We should all strive to be better.

Tigray independence is inevitable, the population won’t sleep forgetting what happened. Ethiopian balkanization benefits everyone.

Derg committed worse crimes against the Tigray, Oromo and Somalis. But how the world is so connected and how easily information is stored and spread these days might tip the scale in favor of Tigray independece/full autonomy. I think how things are progressing so far a long war is ahead of the Ethiopians. Semien mountains are impenetrable and Tigray Highlands are ideal for guerrilla warfare.

Exactly. I’m more anti-Ethiopia then anti-Tigray/TPLF. If TPLFs end goal is independence, then I support them. Because it’ll cause a domino affect within the Ethiopian FMS

So you don't think the tplf is committing genocides against amhara? kid don't be biased they are doing the same thing against other ethiopians, by the way the tigarus won't give up their tplf generals who committed genocide thus they are in cahoots, when Colonel Gabre was going to be arrested by the Ethiopian government all the people of tigray supported him, doesn't that make them complicit? As far as i'm concerned their guilty. you hide a criminal you are one of them thats my thinking.

Why would an Ethiopia broken up be a benefit to me? Somali Galbeed won't join Somalia, I would rather them be under ethiopian domination instead of seeing them as their own country no hard feelings Somali Region belongs to us if they don't want to join us then they should stay with ethiopia.

Somaliland is already a headache we don't need another Somaliland in Somali Galbeed, if Somali Galbeed won't join Somalia I am happy for them being under Ethiopia, my family fought in 1977, for what? People in Somali Galbeed call themselves Ethiopian.

It’s 2022 and you still believe in that silly Somaliweyn dream? I’d rather have them join Somalia, but if they want to be independent that would be infinitely more better then under Habeshian rule.

The Tigrays holed up in their region and refused to hold elections if my memory serves me correct it was EFG that armed FANO and waged war and invaded the Tigray region. Supporting others on injustice to settle old feuds is pathetic.

What Somali Galbeed and other Ethiopian kilils do is up the people who are from there. I don't know what you mean it belongs to us but the land belongs to the people who settle it. And it is ultimately their decision.

Somaliweyn never existed, that’s the hard truth. If we can’t even handle an Italian Somalia, what makes you think we can handle Galbeed which is the same size? We can’t even keep Current Somalia together ffs.

Are you dense? Amhara and Oromo were being systemically cleansed and massacred for30 years before this war happened.

we don't support TPLF, but certainly don't ETH army defending them and doing a genocide to civilians, so the best option is TPLF not regaining power on ETH state, so they not revenged on civilians on their part. Best thing is Tigray secedes and others follow suit.

How my experience in 1991 conflicts with me not wanting a genocide to take place in tigray? I said I don't neither of them gaining control, somehow that is not ok to you
