Also Ethiopia in 1936 was conquered by fascist Italy and their midget āemperorā fled the country. Even if you wish to say Ethiopia āwasnāt colonizedā (which is really just an issue of semantics), they were still under the rule of a colonial foreign power like most African countries and they were only liberated because Britain defeated Italy and restored their clown āemperorā to power.

Ethiopia was the only African country to win a war ever against a European colonial power. They were able to field 700,000 soldiers in the 19th century.
