Sorry if I made it seem as if I meant you specifically. But I'm using your personal opinion as an example to show that a personal opinion is not a basis for sharia. And that you can personally be against something that is halal due to it perhaps leading to sin. But you cannot say that it is haram.

No its because I was born and raised in a non Muslim country. It was wajib upon my parents to move to a western country if it improved their lives, and it did. I'm not numb to anything, I'm just not easily influenced.

jacuzzi is not culture. the suit I think is considered different because it's no longer something particular to them.
Honeymoon is no longer particular to gaals and hasn’t been for years and years. In fact it was never particular to them. Every culture has a thing of couples being secluded when first married. It’s the traveling part which is new and is linked to easy modes of travel.

In any case, I think Sheikh Uthaymeen's opinion is worth more than that of a million SomaliSpotters.
And I think it's weird that people are up in arms out of desire for something so frivolous. Or is there no desire involved? I can't look inside anyone's heart but to me it seems like desire and materialism.

Even drinking coffee was seen as haram by fundamentalists when coffee was introduced due to it being used by Sufi tariqas during their late-night dhikr sessions.
Honeymoons always existed in Somalia- it just was not 'named'. It was hush hush! That is when the husband struggle to Un-virgin his bride with all his muscle- going through the stitched canal!
