Not the best option, nor is it his strongest point. This could have been avoided. A Shishaye group isn't needed in Somalia, but that shall soon change inshallah

The Ethiopians have learned how to tame and use our previous presidents. But with TPLF out of power Farmajo has managed to convince this new Ethiopian administration to respect Somalia's sovereignty. He turned the tables around, and now has all the support hes need from his allies. Abiy Ahmed siding with Somalia during the IGAD conference and telling Uhuru to respect Somalia's sovereignty is an excellent example. When was the last time an Ethiopian PM listened to anything a Somali President had to say? They were pimp slapping Abdullahi Yusuf in Villa Somalia. The whole fucking president and also remember to keep in mind, it was Yusuf who brought those same Ethiopians into Mogadishu. When people learn to respect themselves, then the folks around them will begin to take notice.

AY was wrong for what he did.
To my knowledge, HSM and SSA did not use Ethiopian troops. Farmaajo's case is similar to AY, the principal difference being the Ethiopian administration.
Farmaajo too answered to the tplf before they were toppled by Abiy. The clearest example was the extradition of the veteran Qalbi Dhagax
All that happened was that the Ethiopian administration changed. Unlike the tplf, Abiy is quite far sighted and wants to integrate Somalia, hence the 4 key ports he'll partly own.
Farmaajo's alliance with the Ethiopians is quite unique. To simply accuse the previous guys of doing the same is factually incorrect. To simply claim it is the status quo means to brush over it as something trivial. But it isn't trivial, our sovereignty is literally at stake here
I'll be honest, I think those who support Farmaajo are either naive, or dishonest. It seems there's a heavy clan influenced opinion being masqueraded as nationalist. If this wasn't the case, how could a Somali simply trivalise a president using Ethiopian/xabashi/historical enemies/Galbeed occupiers on Somalis?

Somalis and stupidity go hand in hand. 
Those who support the dowlad for qabiils reasons and those who oppose it because of qabiil are essentially the same people if u deep it. They’re always at war on here and tomorrow they might switch places since politics is always changing. This is why I don’t believe the hate is real, it’s just reactionary and heat of the moment. Farmaajo by every metric was worse than Sharif and HSM, but i don't remember any Abgaal who fangirled those leaders. Like i said, they suffer from misology because they feel under threat. I don't care if some sheegatos ruffle their feathers, waxa uurtooda ku jirta ayay kalasoo baxeen.
Fair enough but I've seen plenty of instances were they use slurs without being insulted or provoked in any way. They're not victims at all.
Its not the end of the world if Farmaajo wins or loses this upcoming election. If an abgaal doesn't win this election he'll probably win the next one. The same goes for other clans, everyone will get their turn. This hysteria is just embarrassing to witness.
They are clannists who know if it was just about their clan they would never be able to make as much noise. You can see it with the way they say “everyone supports us” and then later have a breakdown and call everyone primates or paid idps when their is a protest in Xamar.
Certain people are meant to lead and as long as I am dealing with Ethiopia/Kenya/JL, HG and MJ are our inheritors at the federal level. That rotten cities politics needs to focus on itself and act like were not even here
