If we are being real ask anyone around the globe what are some East African countries they would say Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia and Kenya. Maybe a few would say Tanzania but nobody is going to say Uganda or Burundi apart from a few africans. When people say East African it’s understood to be the nations I listed.

Somalis and other Cushites have been in Eastern Africa, all the way down to Tanzania, longer than any Bantu group has ever been. There was once a direct language continuum between Cushitic speakers in Sudan and the Iraqw people in Tanzania. This group was displaced, subjected to genocide, and ethnically assimilated by Bantu speakers. So what about the EAC(Somalia is even part of of it). Somalia is the most eastern country on the continent. So if their is a country that is East African than it is somalia.

Yep. They act like colourism/featurism/ texturism is exclusive to Somalis and that their communities are completely free of antiblackness. I’d actually argue that Somalis are the least anti black group in Africa. Other Africans need to deal with their shit before coming and lecturing us.
