Reer Nunavut rep their flag heavy how is that not the same? Take a trip to Quebec those guys don’t even hang the Canadian flag up anymore everywhere you go it’s that shitty quebecois flag it’s a symbol of pride for them exactly like how the qabiil flags are just cause Ontario doesn’t use their flag doesn’t mean other provinces don’t. Also Canada is just one example tons of other countries use their state flags in a similar way.

Quebec actually has their own unique culture, language, history and heritage separate from the rest of the country. Their flag actually represents something more than a federal state drawn on qabiil lines in the last 2 decades.

I’m not gonna even consider Nunavut.

If there is any regional identity in a country, it is almost always because that region has a unique ethnic group or history separate from the larger nation.

I don’t think there is another country that has overwhelmingly 1 people and everyone would rather identify with their imaginary made up states over their country.
